July 16th was one of those perfect summer mornings that make your spirit sing! We ran the 3rd annual Roundtown Classic in the early morning hours. Who knew Circleville had such an amazing park. Gently rolling asphalt trail and a gravel path through the forested part. Well run small race with a fair proportion of older participants. I just had the feeling the week before I was going to "nail" this one. Yes, won my age group by 5 minutes. Whohoo!!! Got a medal + nice plaque. My 9th race of the year, not counting Janathon where we ran every day in Jan. And Junethon where I ran about 1/2 the month before dropping to recover from Mohican ;) I have another in my sights for August. I pray it cools off at least into the 80's.
