Ever notice the music playing when your in a store? Ever consider it is "programing" you to: shop slower / faster / buy more / stay longer? For several years now I have paid attention to what type of music is played at different times of the day in say, the local grocery store. Interesting. One of the things I read lately talked about Christmas music. It's like a "door to the past". It is only played at a certain time of the year (usually one of high emotions) and brings a flood of memories from the past. Some good, maybe some not so good. Even your favorite piece of music can unlock memories in a surprising way. Notice that when your mood is so so and a piece of music comes on you really like, all of a sudden you feel uplifted and may even start humming or singing along. Remember you can tap away the old as well as tap in the good / beneficial.
Definitely food for thought.
